We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday the 2nd of March. Children took part in buddy reading sessions, designed bookmarks, book covers and wrote about their favourite characters.
"Over the last two weeks the children in Junior Infants explored the Doctor's Surgery in Aistear. They had a special visit from Nurse Anne who answered all their questions and showed them her stethoscope, nurses watch, oxygen masks and different types bandages. The children really enjoyed the visit!"
The children from Junior Infants to 2nd class took part in St. Ronan's annual Halloween witches' walk. Some great costumes were on display as the children ran to some classic spooky tunes.
