A word from Mary Fitzgerald, principal
Welcome to the website of St Ronan’s National School. I hope that as you browse through this website, you will get a flavour of our most wonderful and unique school.
Whenever we have visitors, they always comment on the positive atmosphere here in St Ronan’s. This would not be possible without the hard work and absolute commitment of every member of staff, our most fantastic pupils and their wonderful parents. As the saying goes, “it takes a village to raise a child” and the community here in Deansrath are so supportive of all initiatives ongoing in our school.
There is so much happening in our school, table tennis, badminton, swimming, hill walking, running, Green School’s Committee, Music Generation, orchestra, Accelerated Reader, Power Hour, Maths Blast, chess, the list goes on and on. We celebrate the richness of the many cultures, international and Irish, amongst us and anyone who leaves us, be it past pupil or staff member, they always say “there’s no place like St Ronan’s”
Enjoy your visit to our Website!
