The children representing the Yellow Flag team in St. Ronan's, along with Ms. O Hare and Miss T. Reilly attended the Awards Ceremony on March 7th. One of our children spoke so well on behalf of St. Ronan's N.S and told all in attendance about the hard work of the YF Team in our school and all we have done to renew YF status. We look forward to our celebration day very soon, where we will raise the flag for all to see!
Patrick, a member of the Traveller community, came to speak to the traveller children about the Tobar programme and his wishes to continue his education to become a Primary school children.
It was wonderful having Patrick here. St Ronan’s food festival hosted by the yellow flag team was a great success. We enjoyed the most delicious homemade sweet treats and savoury foods from countries around the world. A huge thankyou to all parents for your generosity in offering us the opportunity to sample and enjoy foods from your home countries.
