Congratulations to our Division 1 and Division 2 boys teams that both finished in Runner-up position in the Leinster school league competition. Well done to our girls team 1 also for finishing in Runner-up position. All four teams were brought to Mc Donalds to celebrate their commitment and hard work during the year.
Congratulations to our two girls Table Tennis teams on reaching the cup finals of the Leinster school's competition. The event took place in UCD. Our St. Ronan's Team 2 finished in third place and Team 1 finished in 1st place.
Congratulations to Sr. Annette and all involved in St. Ronan's N.S. Table Tennis who have just been presented with the Table Tennis School of the Year Award for 2022 by Table Tennis Ireland.
Huge congratulations to our boys and girls school table tennis teams on their huge successes at the school All Ireland Finals. These were held in the National Indoor Arena at Abbotstown. Following some tense games both the boys and girls team claimed the gold medals and are school All Ireland Champions.
St. Ronan's N.S. were delighted to see the return of competitions and have some matches under their belt against St. Tiernan's, Gonzaga and Loreto Abbey, as well as Leinster Junior Ranking competitions.
Congratulations to the U. 13 boys and girls table tennis teams on their fantastic achievement at the Community Games National Finals in Limerick. The U. 13 boys took the gold medals and the U. 13 girls took silver. We are very proud of their commitment and achievement. Congratulations also to the U. 16 boys and girls consisting of our past pupils who also finished in gold and silver positions.
St. Ronan's had four teams competing in the community games provincial rounds which took place in Longford on Saturday the 25th of April. All four teams played extremely well securing places in the All-Ireland finals which will take place in Limerick at the end of May.
The Leinster league for the 2018/2019 school year has been completed. St. Ronan's had three teams participating this year. Congratulations to the children involved who played some very challenging and exciting games at home and away. St Ronan's division one boys team finished in third place. The division two boys were joint first and St. Ronan's girls finished in joint second position. Well done to all involved.
