A VISIT TO áRAS AN UACHTARáIN

The children and adults, who are members of  St. Ronan's Yellow Flag team,  were very lucky to get invited to Áras an Uachtaráin on March 21st. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived and enjoyed delicious treats and cups of tea served in fine china. We were taken on a tour of the building and the grounds and we all learned some very interesting facts about the previous Presidents of Ireland and the various dignitaries who have visited Áras. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet President Higgins but we were so delighted to see his pet dog, Misneach. A wonderful day was had by all.
