The children from Junior Infants to 2nd class took part in St. Ronan's annual Halloween witches' walk. Some great costumes were on display as the children ran to some classic spooky tunes.
We were learning about the lifecycle of the butterfly in Miss T. Reilly's class. We watched the caterpillars go into the chrysalis stage in their cocoons and then finally the butterfly stage. We released them on Sports Day. Staff and students rocked their odd socks and celebrated World Down Syndrome Day on Thursday March 25th. The classes designed and decorated colourful socks which brightened up the whole school.
Guess the ReaderSome teachers and staff working in St. Ronan's have made a video of themselves reading a story or a poem. Do you know who these people are? Watch the videos below and listen to the reader. When you have listened to and watched each video you can click here to enter. Good luck everyone. Competition is now closed and winners will be announced on Monday the 15th of March in school.
