Our very first school cross - country race was held in St. Cuthbert's Park on Tuesday the 28th of March. The day was dry and windy which made for a tough but enjoyable event. We had three races - 5th/6th class boys, 5th/6th class girls and 3rd/4th class boys and girls, as well as a team event. There were medals for the first three boys and girls to finish in each year level. Scores were combined for a team score. Our winning boys' team was Roscommon and our winning girls' team was Cork. Some fantastic finish times and personal bests were recorded. Post Race Assembly |
