As part of the Bí Gnothach project run by the Enterprise office in SDCC the fifth class students set up and ran their own business. They began this process by gathering, collating and examining market research. Following this they advertised and created their products and brand. They were very keen to keep their business as green as possible and used recycled materials and fair trade products. They held a very successful fair day which was enjoyed by all staff and students. The customers enjoyed fresh home-made lemonade and other food treats as they made their own slime, decorated biscuits, designed origami pieces and had a turn at the fair games. The classes raised €701 which they will be donating to the school table tennis club. The students wish to thank all the customers that supported their business. Comments are closed.
