As part of horse awareness week the children from fifth and sixth class attended an information workshop in the hall. There were representatives from DSPCA, Clondalkin Equine Centre, Race Academy, Dunsink Horse Club and a vet from UCD. The workshop covered how to look after a horse and lots of other information which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Some students have been attending Clondalkin Equine Centre as a result.
On November 30th the people from Junior Achievement came to St. Ronan's and played sport with the sixth class students. Here are some photographs from that very enjoyable day
Fifth and sixth class have been enjoying learning to code and have created their own computer games with the help of the Whizzkids Programme.
Sixth class recently presented their inventions to the Dragons. The children had a great time during this experience!

A maths table quiz was held in the hall for all children from 3rd to 6th class.
Mr. Morgan, the quizmaster kept everyone entertained with some Maths jokes throughout the afternoon.
Well done to all children for participating. In joint second place were the team of Loc, Vilte, Minh, Lucy G and Levi and the team of Natalie, Sebastian, Jake, Kevin and Kevin.

The fifth and sixth class hill-walking club has stared back. Three walks to Cruagh Woods have taken place and forty five children have enjoyed the hike. The walkers were blessed with fabulous weather during all three walks. The hill-walking club will resume in early Spring.
