The first hillwalk of the year took place on Thursday. A group of 12 children and 5 teachers went to Cruagh Woods in the Dublin Mts. A great day was had by all, especially as we were joined by Ms Higgins! 12 children from 5th and 6th class and 6 teachers went on a hillwalking trip after school on Tuesday. They completed the trek of the Lough Bray Upper and Lower lakes. Due to recent rainfall, this walk was quite muddy and wet but so much fun!!
Our second Hill Walk of the year took place in Cruagh Woods. A group of 12 children and five teachers took on Cruagh Mountain.
We were delighted to see St. Ronan's Hillwalking Club back up and running last week. Three teachers and 12 children from 5th/6th class took off on the first school walk since Autumn 2019. Despite a wet start to the walk spirits were high at Lough Bray.
St. Ronan's hillwalking club is back up and running. Lots of new fifth class children have signed up this year as well as new and existing members from sixth class. Three walks have taken place so far in Lough Bray and Cruagh Woods.
