5th classes perform in the National Children’s Choir-Ruby Anniversary concert

Since September the 5th classes have been working very hard learning 15 songs for a performance as part of the National Children’s Choir. The songs were in harmony and some were in other languages such as Irish, Spanish, Swahili and Latin. The children even used sign language for one of the songs.
They were all sung from memory.
Our concert took place on 26th March in the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght. There were many supporters in the audience including family and school staff and the atmosphere was electric. It was indeed a fabulous experience for all and we are very proud of the 5th class children for their participation in such a wonderful event. A big thank you to choir teacher Ms Barrett and the 5th class teachers, Ms Long, Mr O' Neill and Ms Byrne.
